Sir what i wanted to know is that if i were to gain knowledge to be only industry-oriendted in future and join an industry after my CA, then which one of these fields is more learning and provides me more knowledge: taxation(whether direct or indirect) or internal audit. So that in future I become a specialist in industry.
I'm asking this because someone I know is doing internship in direct taxation & litigations department in KPMG, and he tells me that taxation is much more comprehensive and learning rather than audit. And moreover also for one more reason that getting its indirect taxes paid is a legal compliance of a company, so in that in future there is more scope for taxation. Whereas internal audit is an obligation for a company not a legal compliance, so basically if a company does not get internal audit done then it does not matter anyway to it.
Please advise me on it.
Anyways thanks for your previous reply.
