ICSI-ICWAI mutual paper-wise exemption -reg

Final pass candidates of the ICSI intending to pursue ICWA Course are eligible for paper-wise exemption in a number of subjects in the ICWA Examination. Please indicate names of ICWA papers/ subjects in which such exemptions are available under the New Syllabus, 2008.

I have already surfed the ICWAI website, but the information given therein relates to the exemptions of papers under the previous (old) syllabus and not based on the current syllabus -2008. Please indicate the exempted papers as per the New Syllabus-2008.

I ve personally discussed the matter with Institute people and Mr. A. P Kar Director of Student ICWA. I was told that the ICWA institute has not entered into any memorandum with ICSI for the new Syllabus 2008. the same is still under consideration between two professional bodies.

In the absence of any memorandum , there seems to be no exemption as long as there is no memorandum.

Keep in touch with the people at ICWAI and let me know if ICSI and ICWAI arrive at a decision through a MoU on mutual exemption in Papers based on the New Syllabus. Thank you for your initiative.

Hi All

Students of CWA or CS can claim exemption for few papers if they enroll in CS or CWA respectively on the basis of Memorandum of understanding signed by 2 professional bodies.

As the 2 professional bodies have not entered into any memorandum of understanding for the New Revised Syllabus. So, students of both CS & CWA will have to wait until any such memorandum of understanding is signed between 2 bodies.

Mr. Leonel, do you have any idea as to whether ICSI and ICWAI have signed any MOU by now for mutual exemption of Papers under the New Syllabus? Is there any mutual exemption in Compulsory Computer Trainings?
