Huf query

can one pls help ? iam having a query on huf, i have one doubt my client is muslim he want to to take huf pan card ? whether he is eligible to take huf pan card, he is a married and having 5 children.

actually i want to know the eligibility of huf ? and investment of capital? last 6 months back his father is died. he gives a gift of rs 2 lacs by way of gift he(father)  is not an assessee. let me know the full details of huf ? pls help me

HUF stands for Hindu Undivided Family.

A Muslim cannot form an HUF under the Income Tax Act. 

Even Buddhists, Sikhs & Jains can form an HUF, but muslims cannot.
