My client is creating a HUF deed and they would like to know, whether, his wife can be a coparcener of the HUF.
Two members :
1. Karta - Husband
2.Coparcener - wife.
Is that possible ?
I am asking this question because, the bank manager was raising a question about the inclusion of female as a coparcener.
Please advise.
HUF can exist with the married couple, but Husband as Karta & wife as Member.
Currently, a deed has been created with Husband as Karta and wife as Coparcener.A pan card has been obtained on the basis of the deed.
Now, do I need to create a new deed ?
Not urgently, but wherever required in future course, you will have to use rectified one. PAN will remain same.
