How to pass Costing/ Fm subject of IPCC in 1st atempt with the time of 5 months self study?I am not well conversant in costing and find difficult to remember FM formulas. So what to do? Give special tips to pass this subject & about how to study this subject efficiantly while doing self study? Does this subject required revision if yes the how should i do it? How should i prepare notes for this subject? This subject is having huge syllabus how to tackele with this vast syllabus? Should i drop some chapter or i should have to do all topics?

reffer pc tulsian for self study

solve as many question as you can it will boost your speed as well as point clarity

Cost & Fm subject is very easy subject as i feel. I got 87 marks. With self study you can pass but cant build concept for life time. PC Tulsian is good book, but one cant revise it 3 times.

I advice u to take coaching class from CA V. K. Bansal in laxmi nagar. You can contact him at 9873436736.

I took classes from him. He always clear all concept and formula. I never cram any formula or concept. I know how to prepare each formula with 100% concept. The notes were sufficient for 3 times revision and more than 80% marks.

Conceptual clarity

Unlike other subject, cost and FM subject is concept based. Exam questions will be testing your concepts. just like maths, we are solving Numerous problem, but those problem will never repeat for exam . Costing and FA is the same manner.

Best reference book

i will suggest padhuka due to past questions paractical question RTP etc are there....

how to study

Solve the problem first taking the crux of concepts, next start solving the problem without referring the solution from illustration segment. Go to exercise part, try to adopt the same practice....
