Dear Team,

I have worked for 3 organization and maintaining my balance since 11 Sep 2009 till 09 Dec 2016. When I have left my 3rd organization then raised a PF withdraw case as now leaving outside India but they have deducted 70K for TDS amount even though after I have completed 5 years of service.

1st Org was having PF trust so account was maintained by them but when Ihave joined 2nd org so they have created my pf account with RPFC Kandivali office and in that org1 pf trust transferred my PF, but case is that account got opened on 1 July 2013 when i joined org2 and same is replicating as pf membership date due to that org3 has deducted my TDS towards PF withdrawal case.

Please let me know the process now to get IT refund from IT dept.

Regards,

Santosh

As the amount was trasferred and not account transferred, so the period fall short of five years.

You can file your return (online), offer the withdrawl amount for tax as per your slab, and ask for refund of excess amount.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your valuable comment.

I would like to inform you that account number was different and it varies from organization to organization depends on PF Trust or RPFO. I have activated my UAN account in 2013 till that time I was completed my 4 years in service and later on i have followed my same UAN number when I hava transferred my amount from org2 to org3.

I would like to know that whether Income Tax Department may have individual record to check whether PF amount was withdrwan or not from history? Please confir what need to be put whiling filling return form online.

Warm Regards,
Santosh Bhabad
