How to file itr 4 for fy 14-15 ie ay 15-16?

Hi,

I would be glad to know how to receive notice to file ITR for FY 14-15 since the time lasped.Can we go and ask the respective AO tto issue notice to file ITR ?

Nearly 20 of Sole proprietors who are my cleints who receive commission u/s 194H have refund for FY 14-15 as their total income doesnot exceed Basic Exemption limit for that FY ..

Please advise.

Yes request AO to issue notice u/s 142(1)..in reply of this notice you can file return of income.

Normally AO will not entertain a request for issuance of a notice u/s 142(1). This notice is moved by Dept only. You can respond when a notice comes either u/s 142(1) or u/s 148. You can't move AO to issue a notice under any of these sections. Alternatively, you can approach concerned CIT u/s 119.

Such ITR wil not be accepted in the Receipt Counter (ASK) of IT Office. Even if i is accepted by mistake or by oversight, it would be treated as invalid only.

it will be treated as invalid. for that purpose only consolation letter is to be filed CIT

moulichaitanyaji, u just simply make condonation of delay letter for each of your clients and submit it to respective jurisdictional CIT. He'll take the case if found satisfied will order jurisdictional AO to send non-filing letter to your clients.
