How to approach ca for articleship

Brother,

Congrats for clearing Group 1.

First, you have to choose the best CA in your town if you want to learn things.

If you are from bigger town, there might be lot of CA in pratice. Dont hesitate to approach them for Articleship.

As you aware, experienced CA's can train 10 Article trainees i think...

Prepare a Resume...Make an enquiry around you about CA offices in town...There may be big offices having lot of clients...may be small offices having few clients...there may be very strict CAs...may be soft n down to earth CAs..it depends....

Approach a good CA...tell them you want to get trained by him...BE CLEAR with office timings...Exam leave policy etc....

If you dont aware of any CA office..just go straight to ICAI brach in your town...definetly you can find lot of students undergoin articleship...ask them...

Regarding Tax....No problem at all.... you will learn brother...dont worry... Develop interst in learning things...thats enough...you will get trained in Audit,Taxation and Accounting if u got a chance to work with Good CA.

Science background...maths background.... leave it...doesnt matter...

I have a CA in mind...but I don't know how to make resume...and while approaching him what if he asks me about taxation and all....I don't remember anything from what I studied for my attempt and these 3 months I just wasted roaming here and there

Regarding Resume, you can find lot of Articleship application resume in CA Club india itself...search for it..

Let it be simple yaar...you can find lot of formats in net...just do the editing..

Regarding questions asked by CA.....brother...YOU ARE GOIN TO GET TRAINED UNDER HIM...you are NOT GOING FOR EMPLOYMENT...so dont worry...you are goin to be a trainee...

If CA asks questions....Say if you know....or else say Sorry sir... i will learn that... simple...be open...nothing wrong in it brother...

Yeaa Bro,follow the words said by our Sir.Rajan.Prepare your resume as soon as possible,go to ICAI chapter regularly,you will find out the vacancies of articleship in the notice board over there...contact  and approach them.....
