If a society is running a school and a hospital ,how it should apply for TAN to deposit the TDS to be collected .

Hi, take a Form 49B print out from internet, fill it & attach required proofs. Consult TIN-NSDL center and request to upload for TAN.

Yes. You need to fill & submit Form 49B.
