I used Advanced management accounting by VK s*xena and CD vashist . its of Sultan Publications .

Its a best book for self study .

Do its illustrations properly and mark the importan ones that are to be solved on the exam day morning .

and try writing important tip on a sheet while solving questions . like treatment of fixed cost and variable cost or be it relevant cost approaches everything . Give yourself a shot of these pages before the exam . i prepared this paper in 15 days just before the exam and i can still bet i still remember this subject for the core .

and also while you are studying start your preperation with reading your questions slowly so that you know what could be the key areas in the ques because in the end its only one line that matters. That one line can make or break your answer . so go ahead and good luck .

Hey Aditya if you are able to understand every concept from padhuka then there is no need to shift to another book . For one or two topics just search over internet you will find some assistance for sure . I was suggesting s*xena vashist because i found it interesting to learn from . So as long as you are getting everything there in padhuka its fine . Feel free to message me if you have any query .

Hello friend,

With due respect to vies of my friends and other books , I would like to make the following suggestion :

- Though everyone has a choice whether to take classes or do self study, I believe self study is best method to score marks in any subject. And regarding Advance management Accounting and OR, what one requires is conceptual clarity and step by step approcach to solve questions.

I am using 2 books  titled  "Tulsian's Advanced Management Accounting" and "Tulsian's Operational Reserach for CA- Final"  for my self study. I have no words 2 describe these books. They are pretty awesome and the best book on costing that I have come across.. These are best for self study.

Though I may sound little bias because I have studied from P.C. tulsian's books right from Class XI till CA-IPCC, but  belive me there is no author like him..... His books are par excellence.... No book can match his writing style.

You can be rest assured of sucess..

Thanks and regards

Yash
