Guys please confirm gmcs 1 fees fast its urgent??

i had registered for artilceship on 07/09/12 and have not registered for GMCS yet.I was certain that fees was 4k but a lot of people are saying that fee structure has been revised and now its 5.5k.in online registration form it asks us to choose between 4k and 5.5k but i dont know what the basis of that is?

please tell me which one is correct? thanksyou so much

W.e.f 1st July 2013 it is Rs. 5,500.

Dear Rhea..

ICAI has increased the fee for GMCS-1 & GMCS-2 from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 5,500 wef 1st July 2013.

Currently it is 5500/- for July batches and w.e.f. 1st August it will be 6500/-

Revision of Fee for all GMCS Course(s)

Dated: 13th May, 2013

The Council at its 324th Meeting held in April, 2013 decided that with effect from 1st July, 2013 fee for the General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS) Course i.e. existing GMCS Course, GMCS – I and GMCS – II courses shall be Rs. 5,500/- per participants for each course.

It is clarified that students who have already registered by paying Rs. 4,000/- and will be undergoing the relevant GMCS classes starting on or after 1st July, 2013 are required to pay the balance amount of Rs. 1,500/- to the organising centres before commencement of the batch of GMCS or GMCS – I Course.

this post relates to GMCS I & II Fees which is rs.. 6500... but no date is given for implementation of new fees

As per the revised fee structure w.e.f 1st July 2013 it is Rs.5,500 only:

Whereas the old notification which is on 30th April 2013 is not applicable.

Friends i have been registered for GMCS-1 by making payment of it.
Now it was said by the institute that your login id & password has will be sent by the mail & you can select your batch by login on the site.
I have login on the site but there is no option of chosing the batch.
Please help me how i choose the batch.
My one year of articleship have been completed on 16.6.2013.
