GSTR1 error - invoices already submitted

I am also facing the same problem "Error - Invoices already submitted". I went to the sales tax office in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. They told me that many taxpayers are getting the same issue and they are taking up the matter with GST team. They have asked me to mail them the screenshot of error, so that in case the issue is not solved by 5th, we are penalised. As at this time - 4th Sep 2017, 17:39, the problem still persists. If any one is able to resolve the issue, kindly post in this forum.

Today i submitted one NIL return and getting same message during filing. Tried 7-8 times even after some breaks, getting same message. Please help !!

RAJAji, even during last night i repeatedly got this error. i tried during 4:00 A.M. and still the situation was the same. So i can safely say this is not the matter of web traffic too.

I sent email to helpdesk @ gst.gov.in 45 minutes ago but didn't get any reply from GST team. When should i expect autogenerated email? I didn't mention GSTIN in Subject. Should i resend email with GSTIn in subject line or wait?

Riteshji, you quoted it correctly. Its not traffic error but system error. gst ने तो निंद हराम कर दिया है।

Anshuji, have you mentioned your gstin in the mail anywhere, then its sufficient. If not, the mail again.

Mr Rajaji, one query. After filling gstr1 successfully, what message pops up on the screen ? If any, does it mention that " filing is successful" ? If filing is successful, then whether ARN is generated by system and conveyed to taxpayer by sms and mail ?
