hospitals are exempt from gst but some criteria are taxable e.g rent received . but annually turnover from rent doesnot exceeded rs 20 lakh. in this situation gst taxable or not for the hospital.
and some vendors are tell us to give gst number.otherwise they don't provide goods.
No gst registration is not compulsory if your income is below 20 lakhs or if you are dealing in exempted goods as you are running hospital so you are not required to register yourself under gst.Your rental income is also non taxable under gst as it is less then prescribed limit of registration.
