how is GST applicable in case of agents/ broker in any trade. is there any exemption limit applicable to them?

agents /broker under agricultural produce are xempt

what about brokers in other industries. as per my understanding any person having a single rupee of commission or brokerage income will have to register under GST. please guide

yes agents have to mandatorily get register

Sorry to post in another persons thread, but I also have a similar query. Here is a scenario. I book vacation packages. All payments are collected directly by the company for whom I sell the packages. In return, once a sale concludes the travel company sends me some commission. I only get a small amount in commissions. So in that case, do I need to register for GST? Is it mandatory? My income from such commissions will not cross the threshold limits of 20 lakhs. Thanks.
