23 November 2018For example, perosn is having turnover of rs. 19 lakhs, then he got registered and gets his GST no. After that He crosses turnover above 20 lakhs. Whether he needs to pay CGST and SGST on the turnover below 20 lakhs. transactions which he made before registration?

Once he gets GST registration he shall pay GST irrespective of his turnover and also will file all his applicable GST returns regularly. Transactions made before registration he is not authorized to collect GST.
