gst charges on free goods
I am a retail pharmacist. in our circle there is a total confusion about the free goods to be given on bulk purchase. If given should the gst be charged for the free item also? be it either in discount percent or in qty.

GST will be charged on consideration.
Suppose you supply 5 item @ 100=500
Now give discount 100
Taxable value is 400
Tax will be charge on Rs 400.
