Dear Experts, Can anyone guide me regarding applicability of GST on export sales by foreign branches of an Indian company to their customers in India?

A Private Ltd company registered in India, having branch in freezone in UAE. If they export goods from there to India to their cutomer, does head office need to

pay GST.? According to my understanding Importer needs to pay IGST, but what if the importer does not pay IGST,? Will that liability come upon the head office

of the company???

Invoicing will be done by Branch office outside india

Its purely an agreement between branch office outside India and the cutomer in India. headoffice has no role in it. payment will be made to branch office outside India by customer
