Can anyone tell me what is the ceiling limit for gratuity and the effective date of the amendment bill 2010

Gratuity Ceiling limit for the asst. year 2011-12

I read in a news paper which stated that from A.Y. 2011-12 the limits will be increased to Rs. 10,00,000 in case of gratuity.
Please correct me if im wrong.
