Get FVU File

Urgent.....

We are here to get the original FVU File from NSDL... we have registere our TAN With NSDL but not able get it ....

The NSDL is asking for Challan number and amount with three number of deductee details.... but the problem is we are paying payment of tds with the subsequent payment.... while providing the details of deductee we are facing the problem please help......

while processing for FVU File at NSDL... they are asking for challan details and three number of deductee's details but as we are having separate challan for each deduction... how we should provide the details of deductee??

If challan is deposited deductee wise than you need to give details deductee wise.

Sir,

We need to provide details of One Challan and

They are asking for 3 number of deductee details, then what to do ?

The amount is also not matching if we providing such details as the amount will not match with the challan and if we are giving the detail of one deductee equal to the challan then also its not working?

Sir,

We are having challan amount of Rs. 174/-, Rs. 9440/-, Rs. 673/- and so on...

and deductees like of M/s. A Rs. 174/-, M/s. B 9440/- But we can only provide the details of one challan thats why the problem is arising .... We are not coming to solution wat details to be provided...

Dear Jyoti,

On TAN registration NSDL asking for those question for data verification purpose only there is no need to tally between the Challan amount & deductee details for which your furnishing while requesting for fvu files.

Pls note that you can furnish any three deductees pertaining to that return and you can furnish any challan details.

Pls furnish the details from the respective quarterly return for which you want to request for the fvu files.

In case still you are facing the problem pls provide the Quarterly return file sothat I can suggest you to what to do...

Thank you Sir,

We have received the .Fvu files.... Now can you please help me on further procedure....

I have downloaded the RPU software from NSDL to do the corrections..... But i am not able to type TAN no. & other information in first window where we need to provide general information.....

Can you please explain the procedure, How to submit the correction statement....

Dear Jyothy

First you unzip the fvu files, while unzipping the same it will asks you some passward then you can enter the 15 digit Provisional Receipt Number of the respective TDS Return. After that you open the RPU software, in that you select the form type in Form dropdown list (eg:26Q or 27Q or 24Q) after you select the "correction" button, after that you click on the tap "Import consolidated TDS File". After clicking the button you will enter to another screen where you have to select the option which is applicable for you from the drop down list of "Update Deductor Details". By selecting this you can update the fields for which details you want to update. Afterwards you select Challan & Annexure and you can update the details releated to Challan updation in Challan sheet and deductee details in Annexure sheet.

Herewith am attaching the screenshots are enable you to do all those things which is explained as above.

Please tell me while providing dedutee detail, amount deducted in one transaction should be mentioned or total quaterly deducted amount to be mentioned.

How many trial are there for one request

You have to mention the TDS amount of corresponding line/row for which you provided the PAN.

Do not mention the total amount of entire quarter.

system will allow u to 3 times to provide wrong details, if the limit exceeds you will be not allow to request in the same day, it'll allows you to make request on next day only.

It is giving two error one is no file to extract and second is unknown method in ..........26Q.tds

After extracting of the ZIP file, you will find some files having the extension of .tds. These are the fvu files it can be opened with NSDL RPU Version.

You have to open the above files in NSDL RPU Software.
