Form 16 for home loan

For applying of Bank Loan, the IT Returns should be produced to the Bank Officials.. SO even if you are not getting your Form 16, then you can give your Income Tax Returns which were filed.. even you can get it certified by a CA to enhance the authencity of the document.

Form 16 is not compulsory for getting home loan. The bank wants some document to assess your income and repaying capacity. Form 16 is one of such document. Salary slip from reputed firms, bank statements, income tax returns etc., can be submitted. It is the bank's decision to accept any document. So better you approach the bank for details.
