A company pays to its directors, foreign travelling expenses for their personal visits abroad. Whether these will be  treated perquisites in the hands of directors.

No, expenses will be disallowed for company

Dear Kapil,

 

Section 133-141 states that

Where a company pays expenses on behalf of any of its directors or grants allowances or benefits to any such director, the amount paid or granted shall be treated as a perquisite and included as income of the director.
