13 March 2021Hi Friends, I logged into the ITR portal to check what my CA has been doing all these years and I found that Filing Status is shown as Defective. When I looked into the details, it showed --
21/07/2016 ITR Filed
01/08/2016 ITRV Received
30/10/2016 ITR Filed is defective/incomplete
Rectification/Response to Defective notice u/s 139(9) for the above filing
24/11/2016 ITR Processed
Is the issue resolved? If yes then why is the listing table still showing Status as Defective?

Status displays stepwise process. When you click on the link for the year, the last one is the latest status. If that shows ITR processed, it means no problem.
