Good point LAXMI....

I think though they made all Qs compulsary, but at the same time, i think they made papers little easy (accepted by all).., so that atleast genuine and potential students can manage to pass....

Now, expecting an incremental in overall passing percentage is expecting more., i mean, ICAI loves all of us so much that it doesn't want to leave us and so keep on failing.... Old syllabus students can be converted in new syllabus, no issue for that....

But i think ICAI won't bring much change in overall passing percentage, little up or down is undoubtedly possible...

Ha... Ha... Nice Dhiraj..... Let ICAI love us.... Not as student, But as Member....!!!!! I have no problem of being loved...!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha....

Ofcoarse, but then to remain a student or to be a member is in the hands of A STUDENT only... ICAI gives us, kinda opportunity, EXAMS to prove ourselves....

Yes... Thats true...

Hi

How can we predict of marks on the basis of our performance in exams

I mean if for eg.A/c prob on Consolidation...if balance sheet does not tally..and done 1or 2 adjustments correctly..thn how many marks we wil get our of 20 marks..

And in theory (Law) is we answer partly rite..wil they give proportinately..

In Audit if we do not reproduce institute wordings..just write generally ..then how they allot marks...do they give half of marks..

Dear Laxmi,

We need to leave it on institute.

My score in last exam -

Cost    063 (Exemption of earlier attempt lost)

MICS   039

DT        037

IDT       055

Total     194 FAIL

I was expecting positive result in last attempt, but....

No hopes this time... let it be on institute...

I agree with DHIRAJ.

Manzile Unhiko Milti Hai Jinake Sapano Me Dam Hota Hai,

Pankh se kuch nahi Hota, Hausale se udan hoti hai.

Ganshyam, really sad to know about ur result.....

One of my frnd got exemption in all subjects, but he failed in accounts..... Trust me, he's undoubtedly scholar and i'm sure that he would have got exemption in accounts too (his attempt for that paper was best).... He could not do anything for the same... Nothing, but to go and give exam again...

Friends,

I agree with all of you , but in CA you have to go through all the emotions of life - Joy and Sorrow both.

So live with it, try hard all the time - you will achieve the result some day for sure.

BEST of LUCK to all awaiting results.

Ghanshyam's result really creates bad sensation of our ICAI , there may be more candidates of same category But ICAI has to pass such students without withholding them for next attempt..Getting more than 60 in all subjects and failing in one subject really very bad Dhiraj. Exam Review committee has to take care of such students especially.  Hope this time Old Syllabus result will bounce back like BSE !!

I am fully agree with dhiraj.

Thanks.

Ghanshyam's case also gives an example that ICAI is fair to everyone without considering previous attempts. If that would be the case Ghanshyam might also had lost the chance of expecting an exemption in his previous attempt. When you have to appear 4 papers of a Final group and (considering ghanshyam's case) work on a selective basis, it is hard to convince ICAI that you excel "OVERALL". That want CA is all about!.

Ghanshyam you have really proved once, what happened next is surely you should improve that is the clear message by ICAI.

PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME NEGATIVE...

Hi, if any of us is not satisfied with the result then should he use his right to see answer sheets because now we can see our answershets to know where we are not good, where we require improvements.

Thanks
