Exemption limit of special allowance under section 10 for salaried employees

if an employer shows special allowance in salary breakup then what is the limit of it that can be taken as exempt for taxation purpose, is it fully exempt of partly..

the entire amount was spent for meeting business expenses and carrying of the working of tasks handled by employer..
