Executive Director = Who actively participate in the business of company.

Non-Executive Director = not actively participates in business but attends meeting of board

Executive director means a person who is director as well as employee of company like MD, WTD

Non-Executive director means a persons who is a director, attend the board meetings only and not in the employment of company.
