06 February 2015My salary is Rs.30000 and my PF is deducted employer is supposed to pay 0.5% as EDLI Charges. Please tell me which of the following is correct as EDLI Charges:- 30000*0.5%=150 OR 15000*0.5%=75

Pension Fund Limit is 15000/-
your salary is:-30000/-
EDLI charges is applicable on:-15000/-
EDLI charges is:-15000*0.5%=75 is correct..>>

But EDLI are Insurance charges and not the pension fund.

as per my knowledge limit upto 15,000/-for EDLI/ADMIN/ETC.
