I would like to know whether it is compulsory for a Company to take employees compensation policy to cover liability against the employees or General Personal Accident Policy will suffice the requirement.
Company is liable to pay compensation as specified under Employees Compensation Act in case of any claim. General Personl Accident policy will not serve the purpose. Hence it is advisable to have separate policy for claims under the Act.
