What is difference between e-filing & e-payment?
As I understand, e-filing is filing income tax return online after acquiring an userid/password on incomexofiniaefiling.gov.in & it involves filling ITR forms online & make payments for tax online if required ie if advance tax paid are insufficient. One can claim also while e-filing.
e-payment is done for advance taxes on site www.tin-nsdl.com & no other information regarding income & tax calculation is done in this case?
