E-file return of 2012-2013 and 2013-2014

I have never filed return yet.

I want to E-File ITR online using FORM 16 for Finalnical year 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 as i am salarized.

My Question are :

1. Can Still E-file online reutrn for finalnical year 2012-2013 and 2013-2014

2. In the ITR-1 excel utitly which need to select 11-On Or BeforeDueDt 139(1) or 12-AfterDueDt 139(4)

3. Is there any Pently for it

1.For FY 2012-13, u can't file now.

Whereas u can file for FY 2013-14. The deadline is 31/03/2016.

2. For FY 2013-14 's return u should opt return u/s 139(4), since it is a belated return.

3. Theoretically, yes penalty is leviable. By virtue of sec 271 and the quantum is Rs. 5000.

But that is seldom wielded by the AO. No worries.

Yes the income tax return for 2013-14 fy can be filed whereas 12-13 can not be filed.. Late fees for filing income tax return late may also be levied, but not always..

For FY 2012-13, yes you can file the return. If there is a refund due, you can apply for permission from Jurisdictional CIT and then file the return. If there is no refund, then return can anyways be filed with the jurisdictional AO in paper mode. You will get an acknowledgment but AO wont process this return.

Dear prakash, For f. Y. 12-13 e-filing not possible. A. O. Will received Manual mode return and give you acknowledge and will not process, I think it's not possible. Definitely you will received pending action on your account. You should go through this and submit the cause why you have not submitted the return for the said year. Thanks.
