One of my client has started using Website for order booking of its item selling. weather in such case, any intimation have to be send to DAVT department for the same. If yes, than what will be the procedure

mere website is not an issue for vat or any other department

volume and nature of goods purchase / sale / manufacture is the criteria for Excise / Vat and service tax.

But if any product shown as display on website for order booking than intimation will be required?

display of an item on website, does not confirms that the website owner is legimate manufacturer or seller of the goods, it may be tie up with some some vendor to sell the goods through their portal on profit sharing or commission basis.

invoicing of the goods matters, where the vendor has to come under the cover of laws of their state.
