Don't encourage anyone to join in Chartered Accountancy!!!

I sincerely request all the students and members of ICAI, not to encourage anyone (relatives, neighbours, friends or others) to join in Chartered Accountancy.

The most important reasons for this request of mine are

(i) Unemployment of newly qualified Chartered Accountants is growing like the corrruption in India and

(ii) Opportunities for newly qualified Chartered Accountants are at its all time low like the rupee value (as most of the employers are looking for only those who have atleast two years of Post Qualification Experience).

But unfortunately, now a days, the number of students joining Chartered Accountancy are at its all time peak in the history of Chartered Accountancy because of the advertisements being telecasted and published in the media by the Coaching Institutes. They are not aware of the situation of the Newly Qualified CAs.

So please don't encourage anyone to join in Chartered Accountancy, That will not only help the existing students and members, but also those innocent people (who want to join in CA),

Its not that ki CA as a course is bad

its jus that opportunies are decllning day by day

today in dainik bhaskar it was written that in 1980, 

80% passout practise and rest 20%go for job and now it is vice verse

its popularity increasing but value certanily decreasing

ITS ALL FINE FRIEND WHAT EVER THE POINTS U RAISED ARE DEFINITELY TRUE ... BUT U FORGET THE MAIN THEME OF THE CA COURESE .CA MEAN PRACTICE  FIRST AND NEXT WILL BE JOB BUT THE ADVANCEMENT OF SOME CORPORATE CULTURE IN THE LAST DECADE PEOPLE SHOWING MUCH INTEREST IN JOBS . SO BASING ON THIS IT DOEST MEAN THAT WHOEVER QUALIFED WILL GET JOB IS WORNG,DESPITE THE HUGE EFFORTS MADE TO BECOME CA WE MUST BEAR THESE FACTS . 

WHEN COMES TO EXPERIENCE DEFINITELY ITS A BIG PAIN FOR FRESHER IF ANY ONE ASKED FOR EXPERIENCE AT THE SAME TIME WE SHOULD NOT BLAME THE CORPORATES/ EMPLOYESS, IF THEY TAKE  A INEXPEREINCED THOUGH HE HAS 3 YEARS ARTICLES EXPERIENCE THEY HAVE TO SPENT SOME TIME TO GET THIS FRESHER TO ACUSTOMED TO ORGAINSATION EXPOSURE ON THE OTHER SIDE IF THEY TAKE A BIT EXPERIENCED THIS PROCESS WILL BE LESS IN THESE CRUNCH PERIODS SO THEY CAN SAVE SOME BUCKS .

U SAID WE SHOULD NOT ENCOURAGE THE OTHER TO JOIN IN CA .. BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE NO ONE ENCOURAGE HIMSELF ANY ONE TO JOIN IN CA UNLESS HE/SHE IS VERY KEEN TO JOIN IN THE CA COURSE . IF OTHERS ARE INTERSTED TO JOIN HOW CAN WE DISCOURAGE THEM ITS OBSLOUTELY WRONG INSTEAD OF SAYING NOT TO JOIN IN CA , WE HAVE TO LIST THEM THESE ARE GOOD AND THOUGH THINGS TO BE FACED ONCE U JOIN AND ONE MORE FACT WE CAN NOT SOTP OTHER JOINING IN CA . I DONT WANT TO COMMENT ON ADVERTISEMENTS AS ITS PEOPLES DECISION WHETER TO RESPOND TO IT OR NOT .

AND LASTLY OPPURTUNITIES ARE ALWAYS LESS WE HAVE TO TRY A BIT HARDER .... WE CAN NOT WASTE OUR TIME FOR SEEKING A JOB IN BIG COMPANY WITH GOOD SALARY IN INITIAL PERIOD ITSELF ... WE MUST GRAB THE FIRST OPPURUNITY EVEN IN SMALL ORGANISATION LATER GAINING SOME EXPERIENCE  WE CAN MOVE TO OTHER COMPANIES. .

U SAID DONT DO IT ... BUT I SAY JUST DO IT FOR THE SAKE OF ACCOUNTING PROFESSION  

AND ONE MORE TIME, CA MEAN PRACTICE ..... DONT SAY WHAT ABOUT CLIENTS , INITIAL DAYS ARE TOUGH FOR EVERY ONE ... WE MUST START FORM FIRST STEP AND ADVACE TO NEXT LEVELS ... ITS BEEN PROVED  EXAMPLES ARE THE PRESENT DAY INDIAN COPPRATE FAMILES . 

BE POSTIVE .... ALWYAS ... THIS WILL FIND U A WAY

This Worst condition is not only in the CA Profession CS,Engineering,MBA etc. most of the professional Course facing the same.

Since you are just registered for CA final, will you come forward to help the existing students and members by discontinuing your further studies in CA ?

Am sure You wont to do it! Then who we are to discourage others to not to join CA ?

wht i feel is its not lack of opportunities for freshly qualified CA ,its that they dont want to start at a lesser salary and they dont take up jobs and prefer to wait and watch and wait for opportunity to knock their door,i know it wll raise many negative views,bt i hv come across many CA's (freshly qualified) who r in their airs and r not ready to take up job bcoz of less salary and prefer sitting at home,v all know during articleship v r not given a very good practical exposure (exceptions r always there) so hw can one expect a brk of 9-10 lacs,v got to hv some experience to b in that slab and for that v shud b ready to wrk at a lesser salary.i may b wrong bt these r my views.

so v cannot blame proffession bt v shud blame our thinking and everybody is free to follow and choose their own career so there shud b no point of encouraging or discouraging someone to join CA course.

I totally agree with shrikant aaj iss profession ki value ek degree course se jyada nahin rahi gayi hai.mere ek friend ne november 2011 main CA clear kiya hai aur usne ek CA  firm join ki aur jo salary use offer ki gayi woh tho only 6000-7000. toh aao iss profession ki aaj value samajh sakte hain.aur sabhi CA student Metro cities main jaa kar articleship nahin kar sakte hain.Toh woh metro cities ke CA atudent se barabari bahin kar sakte hain.Iss profession ki jo aaj value ghat ti jaa rahi hai uske liye ICAI khud jimmedar hai.Use student ke liye IIT-IIM ki tarah college khol kar Student ko practical knawledge provide karwani chahiye.Kyonki Jo parctical konwledge metro cities ke C.A. de sakte hain woh sab cities ke CA nahin de sakte hain kyonki na toh unke pass itna work hota hai.yahin reason hai ki jayadatar fresher yaa toh coaching  padakar apna kaam chala rahe yaa fir bahoot hi kum salary par kaam kar rahe hain.
