do we need file return or something for Profession Tax ?

every month we are paying profession tax of each emplyee by filling challans.what i want to know is ther any other process like TDS , quarterly return & all . or jsut we have ot fill that challan only for PT

Along with monthly return in Form 5A one needs to submit Form 5 i.e,annual return to Profession Tax department. Annual return has to be submitted before 30th May for previous year ending 31 March.

There is no challan for payment of profession tax of employees. One needs to fill up Form 5A giving details of number of employees falling under different slabs , profession tax deducted etc.. This form along with cheque for the amount of profession tax deducted needs to be submitted to the Profession tax department every month. This is normally called a monthly return. This is the status in Karnataka State as regards profession tax of employees.

what are the laws for employer's provident fund. like how many employees an orginzation should have to contribute for provident fund? is it compalsory for n orgnization?can any1 plz xplain me this topic in the favour of orginization.
