Din allotted twice
Sir,
We applied for din and as the application was not processed due to some technical error we filed the form again on same day. However din is allotted for both the forms. The person for whom both dins are allotted is not yet a director of any company.
Please let me know what is the procedure for surrendering a din where 2 dins are allotted to the same person.

RD Takes almost 2-3 montsh in rejecting the DSC. Better will also be to approach RD via filing of petition so that the DIN Can be cancelled at RD Level. However no penalty shall be impossed by RD as the error is of system and not the intension of director
File form RD-1 along with Form DIR-5 as an attachment & dont wait for their reply as it will take sometime. You should proceed with either of the DIN and take necessary precaution that the other DIN is never used any where.
