Dear all
some days back i recieved the certified copies which i requested the institute , regarding may2012 groupII. What i noticed was that the score which i saw in my mark sheet is different which i got in my sheets. Bad news is i got marks lower in sheets as compared to mark sheet. what could be the reason??? Should i consult the institute, actually i dont have time now, as papers are approaching. wat to do??

Ya even one of my friend got the lower marks in his paper copy and high marks in mark sheet.
Don't know how ICAI checks the Papers?
He got grace marks in his all the paper.

Agree with Rajesh completely ...
There is no meaning to contact the institute as it won't create any effect ....
And papers are approaching , so it's better to focus on exams rather than diverting your mind.

My theory is that they purposely give lower marks in the papers than the marksheet..when copies are sent home. So that even when you see any discrepancy in the copies, you'll still not want to raise your voice thinking your lesser marks will get exposed or that even an increase in marks will still not result in anything more than the inflated marks in the marksheet already.
Total mind games.
