what is the Difference between non assesble income and non taxable income??

I think both are one and the same, ie. exempted income.

when it comes to assesee point of view it is non taxable and administration (IT department) point of view it is non assessable.

non assessable income may be exempted income or the income below threshold limit.

Income which are exempt u/s 10 or otherwise are non-assesable income but are not non taxable.

I think non assessable income means the Income which is not considered in calculating total income
