I had filed for GST Cancellation than I had filed for Final Return also.
I don't make any sell or purchase from start to end business days.
Now, My question is that I have to file Annual Return or not ?

I have cancelled my Registration in Aug 18. I filed all the returns upto Aug 18. When I go for filing Annual Return portal says u have to file all the returns ?!!!
Annual Return ( GSTR 9 ) is need to be filed even if the Registration has been cancelled as clarified by the GST Department.

I query also same like Anil Sir, My Registration Cancel on Jan-2019 Till that date I file all my returns timely than after as per expert advice when I am trying to file NIL GSTR-9 ANNUAL RETURN, I don't find option to file the return and I show that message that "File Pending GSTR3B/1 Returns and try again"
