Donation to religious trust, can i get any deduction related thereto.
my query is in previous year i have donated 1lakh rs. for jain trust as donation may i get any deduction or benefit reharding tax laibility.

donation is disallowed under IT act
however you can claim a deduction of under 80G if the trust is eligible Exempted institution for 80 G.
