Real estate gst

I had purchased flat in June 2017 and registered it on 27 June 2017. My bank made disbursement to builder in the same month at 30 June 2017.
Now builder says that he got that disbursed amount in 1st July 2017 in his account, because of that I have to pay GST.
Now my question is, Is really I have to pay GST?
Please help me and guide me to get out of this issue.

When bank paid on 30th June........ take bank statement of the disbursement date, and reply to builder............. You are not liable for GST, when your payment got released on 30 th June.
