hotel bill invoice

i own a highway hotel, i have a decent buisness, mainly truck driver and local public, if i registerd my buisness under compostion tax layer, then can i charge gst tax on customers bill? and if yes how much should i charge?

If you are running a lodging business, you cannot opt for composition scheme. However, if it is restaurant business you can opt for composition scheme. GST payable will be 5% of the turnover. You cannot collect the same from customers. Have to pay out of your pocket. There will not be GST in the bill. You will have to issue Bill of Supply.
