I have a query regarding the tax saving 80C section.
I am an employee and also persuing my higher education. Could you please let me know if I can mark the tuition fee that I had paid in a current financial year under 80C ?

Hey Rohit,
According to your case, an individual is not allowed to take deduction under section 80C for self tuition fees.
It is allowed for the children of the individual. Hence you are not allowed to take deduction under section 80C for the above mentioned payment.
