U cannot do anything in such matter as after checking if person who check the copy again founds that some marks as wrongly given he can increase/reduce the marks.

Will suggest you to study again rather than to wasting your time.

Rest it's your decision

This is really very sad.If ICAI actually doing checking this way.This will discourage students.This is a kind of corruption.Atleast the student should get what he/she actually deserves.

But the thing is that we cannot do anything.It will only waste our time.It is better to give one more attempt and concentrate on our books.

Icai has a fair policy and test check also done by main examiner on sample basis and if he found marks to be undervalued or overvalued then he act accordingly.

Hii Sandeep, it's very disappointing to hear your case.
But look my friend this is becoming very common in copy checking process in CA exams. I personally have seen many cases where my friends, colleagues have been awarded good marks but due to downgrading they ended up with nothing in hand and again have to give attempt.
This is really very annoying, frustrating and heart breaking. Only we students can understand what trauma we have to go through after studying so hard day in and out and ended up seeing such things. But practically, we cannot do anything in this matter. Institute holds the right to control the results and this power is vested vide our act. There was a student who scored 76 marks in ISCA but downgraded to 54(May 2015 attempt), he even went to the court where he was told to meet the president/vice President but they have sent him saying that don't waste your time prepare for the next attempt and it is within their powers to control the results. You see, how disturbing it could be for any student who scored such great marks in a subject like ISCA and what he got? Thrown out of exemption bracket.
Only what can I say is prepare for the next attempt. No other things will work.

Very much disgusted to see such kind of things in a prestigious course.So much hardwork,countless nighouts,sacrifices,family pressures,many more.Nevertheless,what else we can do, except to prepare for the next exam.

Dear Sandeep,

ICAI has power to downgrade marks of students in case it finds that the marks awarded by an examiner are more than which should be awarded. It happens with many students. There are many students who get 58, 59 or 39. To all of them, i would like to say please have patient and prepare again. You can't do anything against ICAI so better to calm your mind and start again. 

I am with venkatesh.this provision is unethical.

Students should get what they deserve

.. just make a simple application to the president of ICAI and to the BOS with all relevant evidence you have ... i am sure that you will get a best reply. And also include a para that state your minds towards the ICAI after such type of manipulation .

I fully understand your pain as i have also experienced the same. Clearing 3 subjects in grp 2 and getting 39 idt..Frankly speaking we cannot do anything against ICAI..It would be wise to put in more effort than thinking over changing the past declared result. 

Dont waste your time buddy...Study well !!!!!!!!!!!!
