no u don't have to file any return u just have to pay demand through challan no. 280 and select type payment 400 tax on regular assessment.

sir,
ok after paying the tax where to show this BSR number date amount,generally which we used to show in ITR after payment of TAX before submitting the return.

go to my pending action >>>>>
and submit response to outstanding demand
