I think you are saying for financial year 2013-14.

If you are talking about year 2013-14 then you can still file ITR with a penalty for Rs. 5,000. But i suggest you to file return along with penalty.

And if you are talking about financial year 2014-15 then you are not late, last date is 31st August, 2015

There is a difference between AY and FY, plz check correct FY.

Yes you are right, it should be AY.
If you have correctly stated FY 2014-15 then no need to worry because due date for filing is 31st August, 2015 but if you are talking about Assessment year 2014-15 then also you can file ITR now but I would like to differ with Mr. Prateek. Penalty u/s 271F of rs. 5000 is not mandatory in nature. So, you should not deposit it before filing of return. Also your Assessing officer can levy penalty only after giving you reasonable opportunity of being heard and if you can provide satisfactory reason then the penalty may not be levied.
If you are talking about last year.. You can still file it provided you pay penalty of Rs. 5000 while submitting it.. Thank you
Penalty is not an automatic one. Sufficient opportunities will be given before levying penalty. Moreover, you have time to file your return belatedly for the AY 2014-15 before receiving notice from the IT Dept.

Belated Return {section 139(4)} :Every assesse Can file their belated return with in one year from the end of the assessment year relevant to previous year or before completion of assessment u/s 142(1) . For Financial year 2013-14(AY 2014-15) belated (late) return can be filed by 31.03.2016 (i.e one year from end of assessment year 2014-15 ending 31.03.2015)

File fast  . Upload your return . Happy filing yeslaugh

Penalty is no automatic it may exposed by AO May means it is not mandatory it discretionary in nature
You can file your ITR before 31st march 2016 for F.Yr 2013-14 Plz note you are required to select sec 139(4) in ITR FORM 1. And practically there is no issue of penalty of Rs. 5000. Genraly Assessing officer never levy it as such for a salaried person. So file your ITR asap and live tension free. :)
If you are talking about AY 2014-15, you can file your return as late return without any late fees. Or if you are talking about AY 2013-14 (I.e, FY 2012-13), in that case also you can file your return manually at IT department office in which jurisdiction you are covered subjected to without any late fees. But you have to submit Form 26AS along with your Paper return.
you have time to file your return belatedly for the AY 2014-15 on or before 31.03.2016..Penalty is not an automatic on
