Audit-nov'15 exams

pls suggest whether to refer ICAI Study Mat for Audit or some other AUTHOR'S notes ?

I think Surbhi Bansal Audit Book is not that good.

Any other author or Study Mat ?

vikas oswal is gud..but difficult to revise a day before Exams get grip over d concepts..and den refer surbhi bansal..a plain reading to surbhi bansal is not sufficient.. surbhi bansal can be revised a day before exams lastly i would to say..select any material which u r comfortable wid but see u revise 70-75% a day b4 exms

As per my experiance .. surbhi bansal notes are very concise for proff ethics. Infact SAs are very well covered.

See main thing is your examiner is expecting you to answer what the authors have written in icai modules So whatever you may refer should not leave the icai module part.

i have seen to become popular in coaching business.. teachers have used very non technical language in their books.. as a result their classes finish early .. and students too feel good while reading as they suffer less headaches. But when the result comes .. it gets increased.

My suggestion would be .. ( what i used to do at my times) open all books together in your basic learning days... like if you are doing some chapter on Internal control .. see what the icai module has given .. read it .. and then to remember it make notes. in fact you can take help of summarise notes of teachers in market and add your own points. If you ask me which combination you should use.. i would say pick up AS Foundation book on auditing ( by v k agarwal) and do it .. keeping module ready as reference.

I can suggest what I used in my exams.. Aseem trivedi notes with practice manual... My experience say author doesn't matter to much.... you just need a guidance alon. With practice manual would b a good choice

if u can refer study mat is the best...but surbhi bansal book is very effective and good..

I would like to share my experience, i got 65 by reading Surbhi Bansal plus practice mannual. Make it simple and concise by refering Surbhi bansal plus practice mannual. And focus on PE, AS based question, CARO, audit and auditor, and remaing chapters in second priority list.

Hello shiny... i suggest u to go for surbhi bansal mam book + practice manual... it wud be sufficient if u cover dis up properly... Gud luck...

I think you should refer Surbhi Bansal and practice manual.It would help you in scoring 60+ in Audit.Practice manual has now became must in every exam as the ICAI is covering huge questions from practice manual.
