Income tax return a/y 2013-14

Dear All,

I have not filled my ITR for ay 13-14 till date. Today I am trying to file my ITR online just after paying my dues tax of Rs. 18k , But there was showing an error massage of "Time Over" in the Income Tax Site. I know the last date was 31/3/15 to filling ITR. But I can't file my ITR within this time period. So now please suggest the procedure, how to file my ITR ay 2013-14 or any other way.

This is very urgent, so kindly suggest as earliest.

Your return has become time Barred. You need to Submit your return Manually at the Income Tax office.Tax should be paid in Full I.e both The Tax & the Interest onsuch Tax till date. In case of failure to do.so penalty u/s 140A(3) ) which is equal to the Tax & Interest in.arrears. Also Pay penalty of Rs 5000 u/s 271 F since there was Failure to Furnish Return , and your file being a taxable one. Also penalty u/s 221(1) for being an assessee in.Default will.also be levied

For A.Y 13-14 relevant to F.Y 12-13 the last date of filing ITR was 31.03.2015 ie one year from the end of relevant Assessment year. Now you can only file ITR for f.y 13-14 and 14-15.

You can file ur Return for A.Y. 2013-14 by indicating section 148. This section is 'Return in response to Notice Received from Assessing Officer'. Then sign ur ITR-V and send it to CPC. Then CPC will transfer ur Return to Your jurisdictional Assessing Officer. Raveen K

Didn't knew there are so many penalties for not filling ITR on time.
