I need a clarification in Vat. In our office we have done a work in meghalaya provide a machinery for slaughter house for past 3 years. Now we have to raise the bill to vendor. How should i raise the bill in Vat percentage or CST 2% which is correct. kindly give a clear explanation for the above subject. I am waiting for the reply.

please clear that uhave made sale of machinery or supplyof machinery if u supplyof machinery means service tax will be applied if udone saleof machinery eans sales tax vat will beapplicable.first weclear what machinery suppliedfor rent or machinery sold

Thanks for your reply, We are doing the Machinery sales only not for rent. Since, this is project company and we have finished the project in shillong. If the sales vat means 14.5% and this is applicable for local sales. If is other state means, we have raise the bill for CST 2%.

opposit party has valid tin no and u want issue c form issue or receive c forms otherwise if party has no tin no means uwant charge full tax for the machinery u sold
