Wrong deposit of tax in form 16 a

Dear Sir,

I am a trainer and given training service to software consultancy company in hyderabad, I received 479339 Rs towards training fees. But this company has shown 709075.00 deposits which is a wrong figure and deposited 70908.00 Rs .

My form 26AS shows wrong fiures from this company. They have to deposit 47,900 Rs but they have deposited 70908.00. this is for the Assesment year 2014-15.

I asked for corrections but Accountent keeps on saying we are making changes and doing corrections, but till date they havent done it. in another 15 days another financial year is going to be finished.

I am unable to file my income tax as they are shoing wrong figuers. Can any expert advice me the procedure i need to follow to file my income tax , incase if they are not making any changes.

When asked in mail they sent me reply as " We have initiated to our auditor for the revised return and it will be done soon."

But corrections are not done. Expecting reply from experts.

Dear Sir

Need not to worry just file your income tax return taking the actual figure of service provided and claim only relevant amount of TDS (Rs. 47900.00 as mentioned)

it's deductors responsibility to rectify the TDS issues.

But for protection of your interest just keep the records of mail between you and deductor and Bills raised to client.

file ur return with actual amount. then u wil receive notice from income tax department for mismatch of income tax if the company has not corrected tds return. then u can write to ur assessing officer about the fact. one moe option is u can show income as 4.79 lakhs and claim tds of rs 0.71 laks instead of rs 0.48lakh as company has deposited this much amunt
