I am an Indian and want to trade in Indian markets. How do I start trading? Is the trading done online or physically? How do I start tracing the market? Are there any websites that could help?

First of all you need to open a trading a/c in any of the broking houses..let me name a few:
ICICI direct ,Indiabulls, angel broking and many more..
Then you need a depository a/c in any one of NSDL or CDSL..(normally most of the broking houses will open both your trading and depository a/c)
Documents needed genearally:
1.PAN card
2.Address proof
3.Margin check
4.passport size photo
It takes 3-4 days for your account to acually become functional..
And yes some of the broking houses do provide online trading Tips facility.
(Trifid Research has a good online trading Tips platform )
Do all this and jump with all your guts and start trading..!!best of luck if you do decide..!!
Visit some of the more professional websites like Trifid Research - trifidresearch.com/ Some of these web sites will have advertisers who are worth looking into also. And remember, if they offer free information, get it.
