Dear Experts. I got exemption in ipcc I - taxation, but same is not indicated in admit card. I want to know, what's the procedure to get exemption and is it necessary to sit for the exempted exam. Thank you in advance. |
Exemption granted to you will not be shown on the admit card. Go through the relevant statement of marks of the exam - ICAI Admit Card FAQs
.
The exemption is automatic and will be found indicated in the statement of marks issued by the Institute.
[Alphabet “E” printed against the marks of a paper denotes that marks of that paper have been brought forward from an exemption granted in that paper in an earlier attempt. “#” symbol printed against the marks of a paper denotes that you have been granted an exemption in that paper, which will be valid for the next three following exams. Also the result below that Group shows “F-EX” - ICAI Exemption FAQs]
.
Since you have already secured the exemption, then there is no question of appearing for the same paper again. You need to score 40% in each of the remaining paper and 50% in total, including the marks of the exempted paper.
.
You can check your exemption status at https://exemptions.icaiexam.icai.org
