Exact number of attempts

Final 552 views 3 replies

Sir/Madam,

I am appearing for CA finals in November 2014 which is my first attempt but i am planning to give only one group at a time. So i just wanted to ask whether giving one group at a time will be considered as one single attempt or two attempts? Accordingly i need to plan for the same.

Your advice is essential.Thanking you.

If First group is cleared in November,2014, it will be considerd as "First Group-First Attempt" and if Second Group is cleared in May,2015, it will be taken as "Second Group-Second Attempt".

I feel the number of years is considered taken from the attempt you were eligible for. For example, you were first eligible for Final attempt in Nov'14 (after 2.5 years of articleship), and if you clear both groups by Nov'15, it means you took 3 attempts to clear your CA Final.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Single single groups attempted and cleared in one go..shall be counted as two attempts. Follow general principle, how can there be injustice to people attempting both groups and clearing in one go.

In campus placement registrations, single single groups one go are considered as two attempts.
